Andy Cooks - Yorkshire Puddings

Yorkshire puddings

Yorkshire puddings are not that common on an Australian or New Zealand Christmas table. However, I absolutely love them so you should make them for your Christmas feast.

Grew up eating these every time we had roast beef. Decided to give your recipe a go and show my kids what all the fuss was about. Needless to say, every time I now make a roast beef Yorkshire puddings are on the menu. Fantastic recipe, they come out perfect every time.

Did you really mean "Pour the batter into the centre of each cavity, filling almost to the top of the hot tallow." - that doesn't seem like much batter...

Hi Dave, pour in the filling until the tallow and filling almost reaches the top of the ramekin.

Thank you for sharing this recipe. Just a question: when you say “ Combine equal volumes of flour, eggs, and milk ” what do you mean with equal volumes being the flour the half of volume of the other 2 ingredients? Thank you 😀

Hi Sam, I use equal parts (1 cup of each) in case people want to easily adjust the recipe. So if you want to make a little more, you can combined 1.5 cups of flour, milk and eggs. Hope that makes sense. There's a short video linked in there that might explain it better. Thanks!
