Kimchi-jjigae

Kimchi-jjigae is a kimchi stew that has loads of flavour and lots of kick! You can add a variety of ingredients but for this one, we're going to add tofu, pork belly and green onions.

Great recipe! Didn't have peanut oil so subbed for canola. The only other difference I've made was adding a bit of fish sauce. The stew had awesome depth with a pleasant heat. If only I could get the same from my czech goulash!

Thank you for this recipe. I varied it a bit ;) Instead of oil I used porkfat. I added also some old Sauerkraut to my old Kimchi, 2 potatoes and a small Zuchini, used vegetable broth instead and added some Szechuan pepper with the garlic. It reminded me of Szegediner Gulash with a korean twist ;)
