Andy Cooks - Quick Easy Taco Recipe

Blackened fish tacos

Blackened Fish Tacos - simple, punchy, and ready in no time. We’re taking a fresh white fish, giving it a quick rub with smoky spices, then pan-frying it until the skin’s crisp and the inside’s just cooked. Stack that into a toasted corn tortilla with a crunchy cabbage slaw and a fresh avocado salsa, easy. It’s the kind of dinner that feels like a treat, but you’ve smashed it out in 20 minutes. Perfect for a solo feed or showing off a bit.

We made this with two of ALDI's finest bass fillets and absolutely loved it. Such a flavour eruption in our mouths with the fish alone. We prepped the red cabbage an hour in advance so all the ingredients had time to mingle. Served with traditional gaucamole, hot sauce and some pickled japaneos on tacos - 5/5 stars. Way better than any other fish tacos I've made - especially battered ones. Straight into the family recipe book

Made it twice because I did not "burn" the fish enough the first time, delicious both times, and so simple!
Thank you
